How to Set Up Keyless Entry via the Jervis Systems Mobile App

With Jervis Systems, you can use either the desktop or mobile app to manage your short-term rental reservations, guest access, and smart devices – all from one place! This guide walks through how to log in and manage guest access on the mobile side. 

With Jervis Systems, give guests easy PIN code access all via a link, no account needed. All guests need to do is use the phone number associated with their reservation to securely access the property and command the available smart home devices.

How to log into the mobile app as a property manager:

  1. Click the link below to download the Jervis Systems mobile app.  The link will below will bring you to the Jervis Systems app page in the iOS or Android app store.  NOTE: You must click this link from your iOS or Android phone.

  2. Log in with the phone number you used when you signed up for your Jervis Systems account.

  1. Jervis will send you a one-time PIN (OTP) to verify you are in possession of the phone registered with the Jervis Systems account.
  2. Once you log in as a property manager, you will see the devices registered for all of your property indefinitely.  You will be able to lock, unlock, and otherwise command the smart devices that have been assigned to the property

If you have not yet created an account, sign up here and access our Quick Start Guide to get your account fully set up in just a few easy steps. 

  1. If a guest’s phone number comes through with a reservation that we receive from a PMS, Jervis will automatically register the guest for access to the mobile. 

    You can add one-off access from the Reservations page to add mobile access for an upcoming guest or handyman. When entering the access details, be sure to put enter the phone number that is registered with Jervis Systems for the guest’s reservation. Note: You can also use this feature to provide access to other property managers and team members as needed.


  2. You’ll want to send details over to your guest on their options to access your property.  We have a ready-made message template that makes this a breeze.  

Dear (Insert Guest Name Variable with PMS),

You can access our property in two ways:

1) You can use the unique door code assigned for your reservation – (insert door code variable with PMS).

2) You can download the Jervis Systems mobile app from your iOS and Android App Store or use the Jervis Systems Web App.

a) You can click on the link below on your mobile phone to be taken directly to the app store also:

You can use the Jervis Systems Web App from the URL below:

https://www.AccessMyProperty.com

b) Once you have downloaded the app or logged in using the web app, log in using the phone number you used with your reservation.  A one-time code will be sent via text message/SMS and you can use that to complete the login process.

c) Once you are logged in, you can see the devices that are assigned to the property you have reserved.  

NOTE: Please keep in mind that this access (door code or mobile app) will only be available for the duration of your reservation. You will not be able to use the PIN code or the mobile app until your check-in time starts. This access will remain until your check-out time.

How to log into the mobile app as a guest:

  1. The guest can click on the link below to download the Jervis Systems mobile app on the iOS and Android phone:

  1. Jervis will send them a one-time PIN (OTP) to verify they are in possession of the phone registered with the reservation.
  2. Once a guest logs in they’ll see the devices registered on the property. They will be able to lock, unlock, and otherwise command the smart devices that have been assigned to the rental property and shared with them. They will only be able to log in during the reservation access times.  Once they check out, they will lose access. 

Our Master Lock integration allows us to see a rolling code that changes every four hours. The property manager and guest (if granted access) will see the active code for this lockbox. Please keep in mind that the Master Lock lockboxes are not WiFi connected.
