How to Connect Your OwnerRez Account to Jervis Systems
With the Jervis Systems-OwnerRez integration, you can import your property listings and reservation details and automate property access via SET PIN codes for guests, cleaning companies, and maintenance personnel.
To connect your OwnerRez account to Jervis Systems and set up automated property access, follow these steps:
Sign in to both your OwnerRez and Jervis Systems accounts. (Create your Jervis Systems account here if you haven’t already. For more help on signing up, see our help guide here.)
Next, create a Manual Lock on OwnerRez via the link here and label this lock as Jervis Systems. Make sure to assign all of your properties to that lock.
Navigate to the “Marketplace” page in your Jervis Systems dashboard and select the option to connect to OwnerRez.
You will be brought to an authorization screen. Be sure you are signed in to your OwnerRez account, then select the “Authorize Jervis Systems” button.
If the connection is successful, you will be returned to the Marketplace view. Your OwnerRez PMS profile will now show the following settings. Be sure to leave these settings enabled.
Once your OwnerRez and Jervis Systems accounts are connected, go to your “Properties Page” within your Jervis Systems account and click “Refresh Properties”.
When the page had reloaded, you will see all the property listings imported from your OwnerRez account. Setting your time zone is essential for your SET PIN code access to correctly function. If the time zone is not set, you will be prompted to update this field immediately. (Note: You can also edit your check-in and check-out offset options if you prefer to extend PIN code access to easily accommodate early or late guest checkout.)

The next steps will walk you through setting up automated PIN code access for your imported reservations.
Note:All of your messages sharing access info with guests will go through OwnerRez. We store the pin generated with each reservation on OwnerRez. You can use the {BDOORCODE} variable in your OwnerRez messaging.
To set this up, go to the Devices page and connect to your smart locks and devices by selecting the “Import Devices” button. From there, select your smart lock or device system provider and follow the prompts to connect your smart lock account.
Once your devices are imported successfully, you will want to assign your devices to your imported OwnerRez properties. You can do this by selecting the drop-down list for the device you want to assign and checking the boxes for the properties you want it to be assigned to.
Next you will need to create an email template inside OwnerRez. (You can do that by following the link here.) This template will include a specific placeholder field that will “pull” your SET PIN code from Jervis Systems for your specific reservation.
Now you will need to create a trigger in OwnerRez via the link here to send the email containing the guest’s unique SET PIN code.
Navigate to your “Reservations” page and select “Refresh Reservations” to generate the SET PIN code for your reservation.
In OwnerRez you can also confirm the code set up by navigating to your Booking Overview.
Success! You now have your Jervis Systems and OwnerRez accounts connected, your SET PIN is created, and your access instructions are set up for your guests.
