With the Jervis Systems-dormakaba integration, you can import your property listings and reservation details and automate property access via SET PIN codes for guests, cleaning companies, and maintenance personnel.
Compatible smart locks to choose from include the dormakaba Oracode 480 and 660 Series, along with the Saffire EVO LZ Series. We detail the Saffire EVO setup process in our user guide here.
What’s the difference between the Oracode lock series?
dormakaba’s Oracode series is their security solution specifically catered to vacation rental managers. The lock models include the 480/480i and 660/660i series. The 480i and 660i are connected to the internet and are currently the only models available for purchase from dormakaba. The 480 and 660 series are offline, leading to some differences in SET PIN capabilities with Jervis Systems.
For all Oracode locks, you have the ability to generate SET PIN codes for guests for any property. With their available internet connection, only the 480i and 660i allow you to edit or cancel PIN access for guests. With these models, you have the ability to easily adjust access time based on a guest’s request to check in early or extend their stay by an extra day or two.
Regarding SET Text and Call features, these are currently not available for dormakaba Oracode locks.
Note: dormakaba only offers the 480i and 660i for purchase. However, you can still import your 480 and 660 smart locks into Jervis Systems.
Here we detail the process for setting up your Oracode locks, which applies to both the 480/480i and 660/660i models:
Note: The dormakaba Oracode locks generate 6-digit PIN codes, with the default setting being the last 6 digits of the guest’s phone number (if provided on the reservation). Dormakaba locks do not support custom PIN settings.
Success! Your dormakaba locks are now connected and access is set up for your guests.
